Tattoo Removal
We provide tattoo removal using medical-grade laser technology, delivered by a registered nurse. Our clinic is based in Cambridge and welcomes clients from Hamilton and across the wider Waikato region. Treatments are tailored to you - your skin type, the tattoo’s size and placement and the ink colours used - so you get the safest approach and the best possible fade over time.
How it works
Laser tattoo removal works by targeting tattoo pigment in the skin. The laser energy breaks the ink into smaller particles, which are then removed by the bodies immune system. Each session builds on the last, gradually lightening the tattoo.
What to expect
A personalised treatment plan based on your tattoo and skin type
Sessions spaced 6 - 8 weeks apart to allow healing and fading
Clear aftercare guidance at every appointment to support recovery and results
Progressive fading over a course of sessions - the number of sessions varies from person to person
Results and session numbers
Tattoo removal requires multiple sessions. Factors that affect how quickly a tattoo fades include:
Ink colour and density (some colours are more stubborn than others)
Tattoo age and depth
Placement on the body (circulation matters)
Your skin type and how your body responds to treatment
We’ll give you honest guidance in your consultation and talk you through what’s realistic for your tattoo.
